Firehouse Art Center

The Firehouse Art Center in Longmont, Colorado hosts many types of events, some of which include musical performances, parties, or community gatherings of art-loving patrons who come to enjoy the gallery’s latest offerings and conversation with friends. The gallery’s hard, sound-reflecting surfaces, however, created a difficult acoustical environment for these activities. We worked with gallery staff to design new sound-absorbing finishes for the gallery space, and the panels were custom-built and installed by the gallery staff.
